After completing MBBS from Russia Indian students have many scopes of Practice in India after MBBS in Russia, for this student need to appear for the Foreign Medical Graduates Examination (FMGE), which is conducted by the National Board of examination in India. To become a qualified doctor in India, foreign medical students must clear the MCI screening test. FMGE exam is conducted twice a year that is June and December.
After clearing the MCI/GMGE Screening Test, medical students need to attend a one-year mandatory internship. In this Internship, medical students are given hands-on training to perfect themselves before they becoming doctors.
In India, the National Board of Examination(NBE) is conducted by the Foreign Medical Graduates Examination (FMGE). Any Indian student or overseas student of India who obtains their medical degree from countries outside India but wants to get the provisional or permanent registration with the Medical Council of India must qualify for the MCI Screening Test or FMGE.
Exam of the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination is conducted in the online mode (computer-based) for medical graduates. In order to be selected, aspirants must obtain the minimum qualifying marks that will be prescribed by the National Board of Examinations (NBE). Students have to secure at least 150 marks out of 300 marks in the FMGE screening test to qualify for the exam.
Aspirants who will successfully qualify for the FMGE screening test will be regarded eligible to be issued the Provisional or Permanent Registration from the Medical Council of India and State Medical Council. aspirants must note that after qualifying for the entrance examination, they will be issued a certificate which they can access by using the required credentials, i.e. Roll Number and DOB. Additionally, it is important for the aspirants to carry the relevant scorecard along with the mandatory documents to obtain the pass certificate from the concerned authorities. For the FMGE screening test, there is no limit to the number of attempts for the medical students.
