According to the migration rule framed by the NMC (National Medical Commission)- Migration of medical aspirants from one medical college to another medical college during the MBBS program can only be granted on any genuine ground. And this is also possible, only if there is any seat available in the desired medical college where the applicant is looking to migrate. Apart from this, the application should be fulfilling all the other requirements laid down in the regulations in order to change the college during the MBBS program. Migration would be restricted to 5% of the sanctioned intake of the college during the MBBS year. As per the rule, it is also mentioned that migration will not be permitted to the student in any circumstances from one medical college to another located within the same city.
