Latest Update regarding NEET UG 2022:

The NTA (National Testing Agency) will soon be declaring the result of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET-UG) for the year 2022. Although candidates should be aware that the answer key for the NEET UG will be out few days before the NEET results are declared. Aspirants who have appeared for the NEET UG will be able to download their NEET UG Answer Key by visiting the official website — neet.nta.nic.in. once it is released. It is expected that the NTA will release the NEET 2022 OMR sheets with recorded responses. There were various media reports, that the NTA will be announcing the time, date and schedule regarding the NEET UG result on August 20, 2022 but however, it has not given any confirmation regarding the date, time and schedule for the declaration of the results or even the answer key and the aspirants are desperately waiting for both.

In order to download the NEET provisional answer key aspirants, need to follow the 5 easy steps:

  • Firstly, aspirants need to visit the official website of NEET at neet.nta.nic.in.
  • Search for the links that says, “NEET UG Answer Key 2022,” which are mentioned on the website.
  • Fill in the login credentials and click on submit option.
  • Answer key for the year 2022 NEET UG will then be displayed on the screen.
  • Download the answer key and take a printout of it for your future reference.

How to raise a query regarding a NEET UG Answer Key 2022: If there are any?

Aspirants can definitely raise a query, if they are not satisfied with something after going through the NEET UG answer key. Once the query is raised by the aspirants, then it will be verified by the NTA involving a thorough discussion with the subject experts of the board of directors.

MBBS Admission Through NEET Scores in India

As per the norms fixed by the NMC/DGHS (for MBBS/BDS) and by CCIM (for BAMS/BSMS/ BUMS) and by CCH (for BHMS) this year the result and All India Rank of NEET (UG) will be prepared by NTA.

The admission to MBBS, BDS, BSc Nursing, and AYUSH courses will be granted in medical and dental colleges of India only on the basis of the NEET scores that the aspirant will secure on it. Around 91,927 MBBS, 27,698 BDS, 52,720 AYSH seats, and 603 BVSc & AH seats will be offered this year through the 612 medical and 317 dental colleges.

This year, the NEET UG 2022 exam was held on July 17, 2022, out of which 18,72,341 aspirants had registered for the NEET UG wherein 95% appeared for the single largest medical entrance exam. It is a considerable increase from last year of over 2.5 lakh and for the first time ever around 18 lakh candidates registered for the exam. The exam was held across 3,570 centres in 14 cities overseas and in 497 cities in India.

Last year in 2021, the exam was conducted at 3,858 centres and around 15.44 lakh aspirants appeared for the exam. The number of qualifying aspirants were around 8.70 lakh. This year, the NTA had reduced the centres, although there was a rise in the number of aspirants appearing for the entrance exam. Moreover, this years, NEET UG results are still awaited as nothing is confirmed.

For the first time, this year a large number of aspirational districts were also added. As per NTA officials report, this year the exam was conducted by 3,911 observers, 494 city coordinators, 3,570 centre superintendents, 7,877 deputy observers, 7,877 admin staff, 1,56,504 invigilators, 684 flying squad members and 39,330 support staff under the strict surveillance.

Once the NEET results are out, there will be a tough competition between the aspirants in order to get admissions in the best medical university in India. Although there will be more deserving candidate as compared to the less deserving ones but due to reserved category system, it will be very difficult for a meritorious deserving candidate to secure admissions in the university of his or her choice.
